Asus has announced that it is rolling out an update to all ZenFone Max Pro M1 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM users, and the update brings electronic image stabilisation (EIS) and live wallpapers. The update will roll out in a phased manner, and is coming to both 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants. In October, Asus had rolled out EIS video support for the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 6GB RAM variant, and had then promised that it would roll it out for the 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants as well.





Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro

Redmi Note 6 Pro is the latest smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi that's set to launch in the Indian market. It succeeds the Redmi Note 5 Pro, which has been a popular choice in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment in the country since its launch nine months ago. Xiaomi now faces competition from new models including the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, Nokia 6.1 Plus, Motorola One Power, and Honor 8X at around the same price. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will fight back against these competitors. It shares many of its internals and design elements with the Redmi Note 5 Pro, but also sports a new display 6.26-inch 19:9 full-HD+ display with a notch.



Motorola One Power Android 9.0 

Motorola, which has a strong record of releasing major updates to its smartphones, has started rolling out the Android 9.0 Pie update to the Motorola One Power. The latest Android build is being rolled out over-the-air (OTA) to Motorola One Power users in India. To recall, the affordable smartphone from the Lenovo-owned company was launched in the country back in September running Android 8.1 Oreo. It is worth noting that the Motorola One Power is a part of Google's Android One programme, meaning that it is aimed to offer timely software updates.


Redmi Note 6 Pro

Redmi Note 6 Pro is all set to launch in the Indian market at a Xiaomi event scheduled for November 22 in New Delhi. The Chinese phone maker has now revealed that the smartphone will be sold via Flipkart and Mi.com starting 12 noon IST on November 23, the day following the India launch event. The Redmi Note 6 Pro first sale date coincides with Black Friday, the day of big sales and discounts in the US. To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro was first launched in Thailand back in September and it features a 6.26-inch full-HD+ display and comes with MIUI 10 out of the box.


Vivo X23 

Vivo has launched yet another variant of the Vivo V23 in China. Following the unveiling of Vivo X23 Star Edition last month, the Chinese mobile maker has launched the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition in its home country. It is a toned-down variant of the Vivo X23, which launch launched back in September. While the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition adds new gradient colour options to the mix, it also brings some changes in terms of RAM, processor, and camera. The new model comes with a downsized SoC - Snapdragon 660, paired with less RAM - 6GB. Also, Vivo has upgraded the selfie camera to 24.8-megapixel in the latest variant. Notably, the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition costs less than the Vivo X23.
